Für mich persönlich ist diese Band die absolute Speerspitze des 80er-Synthpop. Diese Songs sind einfach unglaublich 
Vor sechs Stunden veröffentlicht 
Vor 45 Jahren veröffentlicht. 
Diese Woche wurde eines der langlebigsten Geheimnisse des Internets gelöst: der "most mysterious song on the Internet", den man seit fast 20 Jahren gesucht hat, stammt von einer Band aus Kiel mit Namen FEX und heißt "Subways Of Your Mind"
Die Band ist völlig überrascht über die Berühmtheit ihres 40 Jahre alten Songs und war damit bereits im NDR zu Gast, wo der Song etwa 1984 einmalig gesendet wurde:

Total! Der Schlagzeuger ist bei dem Video nicht dabei, hat sich aber kurz danach beim NDR gemeldet und sich bereits mit seinen drei alten Freunden wieder in Verbindung gesetzt
Das war noch aus der Zeit, als man im Radio auch mal unbekannte Songs spielen konnte. Heute kommen viermal am Tag die selben Songs, und Last Christmas steht schon wieder in den Top 100 der Charts. Mann, irgendwann muss doch mal jeder das Ding gekauft haben! 
Ich habe auch noch den einen oder anderen Mitschnitt auf Kassette, die der Lösung des Rätsels harren, z.B. eine NDW-Version des Klassikers "Auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins". Ich hatte schon bei gutefrage.net mein Glück versucht, doch außer mir scheint niemand den Song zu kennen.
Karat - Der blaue Planet
Ich kenne nicht so wahnsinnig viele deutschsprachige Rockalben, aber "Der blaue Planet" ist bei den mir bekannten ganz vorne mit dabei. Wirklich tolle Songs!

Das war noch aus der Zeit, als man im Radio auch mal unbekannte Songs spielen konnte. Heute kommen viermal am Tag die selben Songs, und Last Christmas steht schon wieder in den Top 100 der Charts. Mann, irgendwann muss doch mal jeder das Ding gekauft haben!

Mittlerweile nervt mich "Last Christmas" auch nur noch. 2010 gab es unter dem offiziellen Video sogar eine Diskussion bzgl. der Rechtsansprüche. Das ging in Richtung Polen versus England bzw. Amerika. Ich glaube, dass irgendein Copyright-Besitzer Pole war oder so ähnlich. Jedenfalls gab es einen heftigen Kampf am 24. 12...Damals konnte man bei yt noch sofort und sichtbar "voten" .Diesen Daumen-Nach-Oben-Kampf werde ich nicht vergessen. 
Das war echt amüsant. Lang ist´s her.
