    Ende der 1920er wurde in Hamburg die staubfreie Müllabfuhr eingeführt: Statt Pferdekarren gab es nun moderne Müllautos mit Eimerumleersystem. Neben Aufnahmen von der Müllabfuhr zeigt der Stummfilm aus dem Jahre 1928 das Hamburg der damaligen Zeit (z.B. Landungsbrücken, Altstadt, Winterhude):
